Happy Spring Equinox 2010 Sun Saturn cycle

The Spring Equinox occurs when the Sun enters the cardinal sign of Aries, which happens at 1:32 pm on March 20th 2010.

This astrology chart sets up a 3 month pattern to use as reference for reading with your natal chart.

In general the Spring Equinox chart shows a powerful push toward solving long standing problems, blocks, fears and insecurities. This is due to the Sun opposition Saturn in Libra, sign of fair play, balance and cooperation.

So some challenges we face will involve releasing old judgment and fear patterns and using more diplomatic cooperation to resolve issues.

Positive Saturn virtues call for personal responsibility, maturity, organization, hard work ethic, realism, patience, creating win/win structures, practicality, fair play administration and management.

The Saturn archetype represents our teacher within, learning wisdom from life experience, finding purpose, and on esoteric levels, understanding cycles, gravity and time.

Saturn helps us appreciate the simplicity and gives us the ability to respond to life, rather than to control, restrict or limit it.

The Sun/Saturn cycle occurs on the Equinox every 29+ yrs making this a significant learning cycle and calling for positive response in dealing with our challenges, fears and government issues.

Mantra to break through fears and obstacles.

Ceres the Great Mother Goddess is the main release point for the Sun/Saturn cycle.

Ceres, the asteroid of nurturing, feeding, care, and unconditional love is caught in a t-square with the Sun/Saturn pattern in this Equinox chart telling us that the release point of our challenge will come through our capacity to care and provide for others.

Ceres highlights the death and renewal cycles in nature. She is also known as the great Mother goddess and shows herself through the on going cycle of nature. We see her everyday in the circle of life as we view our flowers, trees, animals, ecology, fields, rivers and agriculture.

Ceres rules: Cultivation of plants & animals, domestication, food-related illness, social service, food related services, nursing, nutrition, adaptation and all kinds of parenting relationships.

On psychological levels Ceres brings lessons of self-acceptance, sharing and self worth. She also makes us look at attachment-letting go, loss and return, dealing with grief, rejection, abandonment, separation and mother issues.

Consciously working with Ceres opens our capacity for unconditional love and nurturing of ourselves and others.

Apply Ceres, the mother goddess when the following issues arise. Self-hating, over-protecting, rejecting of self & others, controlling behaviors, unhealthy critical judgment and self-destructive behavior.

As you can see, most of our inner fears and blocks occur due to our subconscious separation from the great mother principle and archetype.

Connect with nature, follow the Sun and Moon cycles and the link to the Great Mother will realign helping to heal the separation anxieties and destructive thoughts and behaviors.

It is as simple as that. Open the mind and your perception to unity with; to being part of and include yourself in the circle of life and infinite space.

A nice universal soul meditation and tribute to the goddess.
